Ontario Airport willing to offer incentives for airlines to add more daily flights

ONTARIO, Calif.

According to the Press-Enterprise, airport management says it is willing to offer free rent, a break in fees and up to $500,000 a year in free advertising if new daily flights are added.

Any incentives would still need the approval of the Los Angeles World Airports Board of Directors.

The paper reports that traffic at Ontario Airport has dropped by 37 percent since 2007.
