Crews worked through the night to get Hollywood Boulevard transformed and Oscar-ready. Thursday morning, the red carpet was covered in white tarp to keep it protected.
The Oscar boards surrounding the red carpet took on a new look this year, with sketches of women's fashion through the years.
Good news this year - Oscar Sunday is expected to be warm and sunny.
The 85th annual Academy Awards will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane, who is surely going to bring his humor to the stage.
This year's show will feature very special presenters - the six winners of the Oscar Experience College Search. The contest was open to college students across the country and required them to submit a video responding to the question, "How will you contribute to the future of movies?"
The producers of this year's Oscars came up with the program for aspiring filmmakers.
"Out of everything we've done on the show, I think we're most proud of this program. We've instituted the idea that we can create a legacy of people that are passionate about film that wouldn't have the opportunity to be at the Oscars and this is their way in," said Oscar producer Neil Meron.
Meantime, local businesses are cashing in on Oscar by selling fake Oscar statuettes, T-shirts and other memorabilia.
With Oscar Sunday just days away, play the My Picks game to choose who you think will win in each award category.
