The incident happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the 12000 block of Darnell Street.
Garden Grove police said they responded to the home after receiving a call about a loud party. When they arrived, officers learned that a large fight broke out in the backyard and several people ran away.
Police said they entered the location and found three people with apparent stab wounds. One of the victims, identified only as a 20-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital where he died. Authorities said the two other victims did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
So far, no arrests have been made.
