Only about a tenth of an inch of rain is expected by the end of the day, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s in most areas. It's not a lot of rain, but every little bit will help with the statewide drought. Most of the rain from this system stayed in Northern California toward the San Francisco area.

Wind advisories are in effect for deserts and mountains in the Inland Empire.

Cooler and mostly cloudy conditions are expected. In the local mountains, the storm will bring snow at about 7,000 feet.

The rain should clear out by Thursday, and then sunshine is forecast beginning Friday through the weekend. But on Monday and Tuesday, SoCal may get more significant rain, possibly a half inch of precipitation, according to Weathercaster Garth Kemp.
