Authorities probe separate shootings in Inglewood, Arlington Heights

Authorities are investigating two separate shootings that claimed the lives of two men in Inglewood and Arlington Heights.

The Inglewood shooting happened around 11 p.m. Saturday. Police were called to Doty Avenue and 113th Street, where they found the male victim. He died at the scene.

So far there is no word on where the man was shot or how many times. Police have not released the victim's name or any information about a possible suspect or motive.

In the Arlington Heights shooting, a man in his 20s was found on the ground by officers who responded to Washington Boulevard and Arlington Avenue.

Authorities say the man was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. He hasn't been identified.

According to officers, the victim was on foot when he was shot.

There is no word on a possible suspect, but police said a vehicle was spotted leaving the scene.
