The collision occurred at the intersection of 25th Street East and Lancaster Boulevard around 6:45 p.m.
Fire officials say three children were airlifted to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Three adults were transported from the scene in ground ambulances. Two of them were said to be in full cardiac arrest.
The condition of the children and the other victims has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
