SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man found at a Santa Clarita home and family members identified the victim as a 20-year-old who has been missing for two days.

Brayan "Brian" Rodriguez was last seen on Friday in the area of Via Valer, according to a missing flyer circulating in the area. His cellphone was later found at Valencia Meadows Park.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives said Sunday they are investigating the suspicious death of a man found in the 23600 block of Via Valer in Santa Clarita.

Authorities were called to the home at 3:57 p.m. on a report of a person not breathing. Upon arrival, they found the victim and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Detectives would not confirm the identity of the victim, but friends and family told Eyewitness News they believe it was Rodriguez.
