Man found shot to death inside car in Pasadena

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Pasadena police are investigating a homicide involving a man who was found shot to death inside a car early Tuesday morning.

Officers discovered the body of 35-year-old Luis Artia around 1:30 a.m. after receiving a call regarding gunfire on East Villa Street.

Investigators believe Artia was a transient.

The identity of the shooter and a motive remain unknown.

An autopsy is pending.
