4.3-magnitude earthquake strikes near Lucerne Valley
A 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit 22 miles east, north east of Lucerne Valley on Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

LUCERNE VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit 22 miles east, north east of Lucerne Valley on Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 10:13 p.m. and had a depth of 1.5 miles. The temblor was first reported as a magnitude-4.4 but was revised soon after.

Eyewitness News viewers in Victorville, Apple Valley, Joshua Tree, Big Bear and Yucaipa reported feeling the quake.

Since the initial temblor, four small aftershocks with magnitudes of about 1.5 struck Lucerne Valley.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
