Arcadia battery suspect accused of putting women in bear hugs, pelvic thrusting

ARCADIA, Calif. -- Arcadia police are searching for a man suspected of going up to women near area schools, placing them in a bear hug from behind and performing several pelvic thrusts before running away.

Police received two reports of battery on the morning of Aug. 25 at Dana Middle School at 1401 S. First Ave. and the parking lot of Arcadia High School at 180 Campus Dr.

Both victims were adults and did not suffer any injuries. They told police the man approached them as they were walking away or going towards their cars.

The man was described as between 16 and 20, 5 feet and 7 inches tall, chubby, clean-shaven and with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with tan shorts.
