All-clear issued after bomb threats at Loma Linda hospital, Grand Terrace school

LOMA LINDA, Calif. (KABC) -- San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies issued an all-clear after alleged bomb threats at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Grand Terrace High School on Tuesday.

Multiple units were called to the hospital located at 11234 Anderson Street in Loma Linda due to the bomb scare, sheriff's spokeswoman Cindy Bachman said.

At the same time, San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies were also investigating an alleged bomb threat about six miles away at Grand Terrace High School.

Sheriff's spokesman Adam Cervantes said the bomb threat at the school located at 21810 Main Street in Grand Terrace was reported at 10 a.m.

Sheriff's deputies and bomb-sniffing dogs conducted a room-by-room search of the campus.

An all-clear was given at both sites shortly before noon after nothing suspicious was found, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Lt. Robert O'Brine said.
