LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (KABC) -- More than $10,000 in equipment was stolen from a children's nonprofit theater in Laguna Niguel, only days before its holiday show.
Ovations Performing Arts Center was broken into on Saturday, with the thieves stealing all of the microphones, spotlights, and some computers, speakers, instruments, power tools, costumes, props and other electronics.
The theater was opened in the summer by owner and director Charla Moore, who created the nonprofit as a place for families to help one another through their love of performance arts. The organization also offers scholarships to children in need.
The center is accepting donations so that students may still perform the upcoming holiday show. If you want to donate, you can head to ovationspac.org.
