VIDEO: Suspected drunk driver speeds along Huntington Beach Pier

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Huntington Beach police posted surveillance video on Facebook that shows a suspected drunk driver speeding onto the pier. They hope the video discourages people from drinking and driving.

The video shows a car driving onto the pier, luckily avoiding pedestrians. Three patrol cars then arrive at the scene. According to the video, this all happened Tuesday around 10:40 p.m.

Police say the driver made it all the way to the end of the pier, drove around Ruby's Diner, and then came back around to the waiting police cars.

No one was injured during the incident and the driver was arrested for DUI.
