'Eye on L.A.' serves up a little Los Angeles history and explores the beginnings of the Original Farmers Market at 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- We're serving up a little Los Angeles history with a big dose of fun as we explore the beginnings and the treasures of one of our favorite spots in town, the Original Farmers Market at 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue.

PATSY D'AMORE'S ITALIAN FOOD

Patsy D'Amore and his brother Franklyn left New York City and headed over to sunny Southern California to start their business. They brought the first slice of pizza to Los Angeles in 1939.
