FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blountexpressed his confidence Tuesday that recent offensive struggles won't hold the team back in the postseason.

Asked whether recent struggles are simply a result of execution, Blount, who drew a large media crowd in the locker room, said:

"Yeah, yeah. Nobody can stop us but us, you know? Like I said, the focus is on us this week to correct all the things that haven't been going so well for us."

That captured, in a sense, the vibe surrounding the team on a week in which the Patriots are scheduled to practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

"We don't have a game this week, so we have to focus on us and what can we do to get better," Blount said.

It was a quiet day in the locker room, with Blount and linebackers Dont'a Hightower, Darius Fleming and Akeem Ayers a few of the players conducting interviews.

As for Blount, he played in Sunday's finale after missing the Dec. 21 win over the Jets with a shoulder injury.

"I'm good to play. I feel good," he said. "It's a long season. I'm pretty sure that everybody that can play is going to be out there when we play whoever we play."
