WASHINGTON - The Los Angeles Dodgers' injury woes continue to mount with Yasiel Puig the latest to become hobbled during Thursday's game against the Washington Nationals.

Puig was removed in the seventh inning after running down the first base line on a ground ball. He started favoring his right leg even before reaching the bag and was diagnosed with right hamstring tightness.

The Dodgers already put 22 different players on the disabled list this season, tied for the most DL activity for a National League team in a single season over the past 30 years. Over two months remain on the schedule. The Dodgers are still trying to determine the severity of Puig's latest hamstring injury.

"I think history says it's his left hamstring that's given him problems but this is his right," manager Dave Roberts said. "I don't know the degree at this point."

Puig did spend two different stints on the disabled list last year for a hamstring issue on each leg. He missed 17 days this past June with a strained left hamstring.

During the just-completed series against the Nationals, right-handed reliever Chris Hatcher became the latest Dodgers player to find his way to the disabled list with an oblique strain.
