Sparks re-sign guard Odyssey Sims

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Sparks have re-signed guard Odyssey Sims for a second season with the team.

Sims,acquired from Dallas in exchange for two picks in the 2017 draft, averaged 15.9 points and 3.6 assists during the Sparks' playoff run last year. They lost to Minnesota in the WNBA Finals.

Sims has career averages of 14 points and 3.8 assists. She was the second overall pick in the 2014 draft by the Tulsa franchise, which moved to Dallas. She made the league's All-Rookie team.
