UCLA suspends Adrian Klemm for 2 games for recruiting violations

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. --UCLAhas suspended offensive line coach Adrian Klemm for its first two games and imposed additional recruiting restrictions on its football coaching staff after an investigation into Klemm's recruiting practices.

The Bruins announced the self-imposed sanctions Friday night after a five-month investigation.

UCLA reported the violations earlier this year and suspended Klemm with pay during spring football and recruiting season. Klemm was reinstated in June.

After the investigation, Klemm will miss the Bruins' first two games, and he has been fined an undisclosed amount.

The school also will forgo two official recruiting visits next year. UCLA already reduced its recruiting days by 10 percent this year.

UCLA says it will continue to cooperate with the NCAA's ongoing review.

Klemm also is the Bruins' associate head coach and run game coordinator.
