The San Diego Zoo welcomed an adorable koala as the newest addition to its Conrad Prebys Australian Outback exhibit.
The koala's mother, Cambee, gave birth to the joey in November and had kept the joey in her pouch until recently. Now, the joey clings to Cambee's back and will stay with her mother for the next few months.
"It is always fun when we get to work with koala joeys and watch their personalities develop," said zookeeper Lacy Pearson in a press release. "At this age, she has not shown us her personality yet, but she is doing great, and has already started to eat eucalyptus leaves."
