ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif. (KABC) -- The westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway near Rowland Heights were back open Wednesday morning after an overturned big rig caused a traffic mess.

The crash, involving the big rig and two other cars, was reported around 1:30 a.m. near Nogales Street.

No significant injuries were reported.

The collision led to a fuel spill across lanes in the area, and Caltrans crews were working to clean up the mess. Loads of groceries that apparently spilled out from the bed of the truck were also scattered.

Crews were able to open three lanes shortly before 6 a.m., allowing the traffic congestion to slowly start moving again.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
