The historic Hall of Justice, which is located in the 200 block of W. Temple Street in downtown Los Angeles, reopened in 2014 following a $233 million renovation.
Crews worked to preserve courtrooms and the original cell block at the Hall of Justice that once held notorious cult leader Charles Manson.
Clara Phillips brutally murdered her husband's mistress with a claw hammer in July 1922. She escaped from the Los Angeles County jail after shearing off the bars off her cell.
