Experts say dust mites are resilient

All that time, energy and money you're spending to get rid of dust mites in your bedroom is probably not getting the job done, according to the latest study.Danish researchers reviewed 54 studies that looked at dust mite chemicals, special pillow and mattress covers and laundering techniques.

Researchers say these treatments don't do enough to stop dust mite allergens, which are at the root of the problems they cause.

Scientists say asthma and allergy guidelines should reflect the fact that dust mites are hard to get rid of.
