911 tape released in Inglewood shooting

INGLEWOOD, Calif. The transcript shows Inglewood police were at the correct apartment when they shot and killed a suspect on Monday.

The family of the victim, 38-year-old Kevin Wicks, claimed authorities responded to a domestic disturbance call at the wrong residence.

Wicks was shot and killed after police say he pointed a gun at them.

In the 911 call, the dispatcher asks the caller if he is, "inside apartment number ten." The caller responds, "Yeah, I believe it is apartment number ten. I can't really tell. But I think it's the middle apartment."

The officer who shot Wicks was involved in another deadly shooting in May.
