New details released in deadly pursuit

ROSEMEAD, Calif. An autopsy now reveals that the suspect died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and not as a result of the crash.

Police were chasing the unidentified man Saturday when he flipped the SUV he was driving in Rosemead. The SUV erupted in flames.

The vehicle belonged to a woman who was found shot to death at her Gardena restaurant earlier this month. The woman was identified as 64-year-old Connie Chang.
