"Obviously, my brother, all his friends come together and have fun," said Taylor. "You just want to be a part of that. They're having their fun. I have my sports, this is their chance to enjoy it. So I want to help."
Taylor wants these players to enjoy the winning. But win or lose, she wants them to get more out of their time in competition.
"Have fun, experience the whole team aspect and make some friends," said Taylor.
These Special Olympians get so much from Taylor's involvement, but she says she's the one who gets the most out of it.
"I feel so proud and thankful that they enjoy me being there so I can come back and enjoy myself even more," said Taylor. "I just love helping them."
Through all moments big and small, Taylor feels an extraordinary kinship with her fellow competitors.
"When they're laughing and enjoying themselves, yelling and screaming like they're having fun, it makes me enjoy it," said Taylor.
These Special Olympians know how amazing Taylor Schubert is and that's why she's our Cool Kid.
