Hit and run kills 1, badly injures 2

BOYLE HEIGHTS, Calif. The accident happened around 10:30 Friday night in the 500 block of South Lorena Street in /*Boyle Heights*/.

A 37-year-old woman died at the hospital. A 14-year-old girl and a 20-year-old woman are in critical condition.

Police said the car that hit the women was a dark-colored 1993 Chrysler Concord and had California license plate number 3ECW121

Investigators say they want to talk to Carol Elena Vega and Freddie Rodriguez about the hit and run.
