Security guard shoots man in Pacoima

PACOIMA, Calif. Police said the security guard removed the man from the restaurant on the 13000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard for unknown reasons at about 8:50 a.m.

The man went to his car and got a gun and shot at the security guard, who returned fire.

The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The security guard was not hurt.
