O.C. white supremacist gets death sentence

November 23, 2009 12:00:00 AM PST
A Costa Mesa white supremacist has been sentenced to die for killing a fellow gang member who revealed gang secrets on TV.Prosecutors say 46-year-old Billy Joe Johnson lured his childhood friend, Scott Miller, to his shooting death in March 2002, months after he gave what he thought was an anonymous interview on television.

Johnson was already serving life in prison for a 2004 gang-related killing.

He did not address the court as the judge gave him the death penalty.
