Toddler rammed by bull in Riverside County

A toddler was rammed by a stray bull in Riverside County on Monday.The 2-year-old boy and his older brother were playing in their yard in Mead Valley when a bull in a field next to their home saw the boys and charged. The bull plowed into a chain-link fence separating the yards and knocked the toddler to the ground.

The child was hospitalized and has been released. The older boy was not hurt.

Police said the bull was taken to the Ontario Stockyard, and the bull's owner will be cited.
