34 arrested in Pasadena gang takedown

LOS ANGELES The suspects were believed to have links to the Pasadena Denver Lane Bloods which has branched out into the Antelope Valley. 11 of the suspects were also charged with trafficking crack cocaine in the Antelope Valley.

"This enforcement action has dealt a serious blow to one of the most dangerous and aggressive criminal street gangs operating in the Antelope Valley," said Claude Arnold, Special Agent in Charge for ICE Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles.

The investigation began after authorities said gang member Dejon Ray King shot and wounded Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Giovanni Lampigano on July 12, 2009 in Palmdale. King was later sentenced to 38 years to life.

Since then, officials have seized approximately two pounds of crack cocaine and 114 grams of powder cocaine.
