Evacuation orders issued for 30-acre brush fire burning in Chino Hills

CHINO HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Evacuation orders have been issued for a vegetation fire burning in Chino Hills in San Bernardino County, near the border with Diamond Bar.

The Grand Fire is 30 acres and was first reported near Grand Avenue and Pleasant Hill Drive.

The Cal Fire San Bernardino Unit says the fire has a moderate rate of spread and a potential for 200 acres, with structures threatened.

Evacuation orders have been issued for Mill Stream Drive, Falling Star Lane, Valley View Lane and Sweet Grass Lane.

Roads are closed at Chino Hills Parkway and Falling Star, and Chino Hills Parkway and Country Walk. An evacuation center has been set up at the Chino Hills Community Center.
