Investigators seized a tarp and trash bags from the home of Maynard, who was found bound and gagged in Hoffman's basement Sunday.
Maynard's mother, brother and her mother's friend are still missing after disappearing last Wednesday.
Knox County Sheriff David Barber said Maynard's father says she's doing well. Barber also said he's looking forward to meeting Maynard.
Hoffman is under suicide watch.
