Toll workers are being eliminated from toll booths on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

The bridge district's board of directors has voted to replace toll workers with an electronic toll system.

The change is expected to happen by the end of 2012.

Two-thirds of Golden Gate drivers already use electronic transponders to pay tolls.

Drivers without the "FastTrack" system will have their license plates captured by video camera and will be mailed a bill for $6.
