The 7-year itch is now the 3-year glitch

The 'three-year glitch' has replaced the 'seven-year itch,' a new study suggests.

Experts now say it takes just three years to hit that tipping point in a relationship.

Researchers in the U.K. studied 2,000 adults in steady relationships and found that the 36-month mark is the point where things that were once endearing become irritating.

Some of the passion-killers include weight gain, snoring, stinginess and toe-nail clippings on the bathroom floor.

The study also revealed couples at that three-year mark fight an average of 2.7 hours a week.
