Prosecutors say Eric Gilford stabbed Kristine Gilford 16 times in front of her 4-year-old daughter.
On Friday, he entered a guilty plea to first-degree murder and the intentional homicide of an unborn child.
In exchange for Gilford's guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to cap their sentence recommendation for both crimes at 140 years in prison.
