The crash happened around 9 p.m. Saturday night on Ave. 95 and road 224 near Terra Bella. The CHP says the driver lost control of his car, veering off the road and into an Olive Tree.
One person was killed and five others were rushed to area hospitals with major injuries. Ave. 95 was closed for a short time Saturday, but it was back open Sunday morning. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
