A Laguna Beach rug-store manager arrested for rape was charged with four additional counts Friday, the Orange County District Attorney's Office announced.

Laguna Niguel resident Saeid Boustanabadi Maralan, 53, was charged with two felony counts of sexual battery by restraint, one felony count each of rape, sexual penetration by a foreign object by force, attempted forcible oral copulation, false imprisonment, and one misdemeanor count of indecent exposure with a sentencing enhancement allegation for committing a sexual offense against more than one victim.

Maralan managed the Laguna Beach rug store Sirous and Sons. He was charged Sept. 2 with rape, showing pornography to a minor, and attempted rape. He is a registered sex offender.

An investigation led four additional women to come forward to report incidents against Maralan.

One woman reported incidents occurred between May and July 2007.

Another woman reported Maralan raped her in the store in April 2010.

Two other women reported Maralan made unwanted forceful advances in June and December 2009.

If convicted, Maralan faces a maximum sentence of 50 years to life in state prison.

Maralan was held on $2 million bail and was expected to be arraigned Friday.
