The fire started in the attic of the cafeteria at the Village Christian school on Village Avenue.
More than 30 firefighters were dispatched to the scene at around 9 p.m. They were able to keep the flames from spreading. Damage is estimated at $15,000. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
