2 Arcadia police officers on paid leave during investigation into possible violations

ARCADIA, Calif.

Chief Robert Guthrie with the Arcadia Police Department placed the two officers on leave on Friday, March 15, pending the outcome of criminal and administrative investigations, according to a news release.

The nature of the violations was not disclosed. The news release only stated that the officers possibly violated the law or department policies.

While the Arcadia Police Department is handling the administrative investigation, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office is overseeing the criminal investigation.

The identities of the officers were not released.
