San Jacinto man gets life in prison for random Facebook murder
RIVERSIDE, Calif. Manuel Guzman Jr. of San Jacinto was sentenced on Friday. He read a statement to the court admitting to the killing an hour before he was sentenced.
In February, a jury deliberated for less than a day before convicting the 19-year-old of the murder of 23-year-old Eddie Leal.
Two years ago, Guzman created a fake Facebook profile for a woman whom Leal agreed to meet at a park. Leal was later found in his car, shot multiple times.
