BANNING, Calif. (KABC) -- A 3.4-magnitude earthquake rattled the Banning area in Riverside County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck just before 5 a.m. at a depth of about 10 miles.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
