Decomposed body found in San Bernardino field

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation was underway after an adult's body was found in a field in San Bernardino on Friday.

A report came in at 3:32 p.m., and officers discovered the severely decomposed body near the 1400 block of East Lynwood Drive, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.

It was not clear how the unidentified person died.

No other details were immediately available.
