HOUSTON (KABC) -- Workers have begun replacing parts of the border wall along the Mexican border near the new Mexico-Texas state line.
Video shows the first panels of the Santa Teresa Border Wall Replacement Project going into place. It happened just west of El Paso, Texas.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said the work is part of a presidential executive order.
Workers are replacing a 20-mile stretch of existing vehicle barriers.
The project is expected to cost more than $73 million.
