SPRING, Texas -- Cassidy Stay, the lone survivor of a cold-blooded attack on a family in Spring, Texas, was named to her school's homecoming court Friday night.
Stay told Eyewitness News, "If my parents would be here at the game with me, they'd be cheering me on."
The 15-year-old is a flutist in the Klein Collins High School Marching Band. She added, "It's just - it's just fun because the band is my family, so I just feel right at home."
Stay is one of seven family members shot execution-style inside their Spring home in July by accused gunman Ron Haskell.
