VALENCIA, Calif. (KABC) -- The classic wooden roller coaster Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia is being retired Saturday.



Saturday is the last day thrill seekers will be able to ride the roller coaster



Colossus was the world's tallest and fastest when it opened in 1978. It is 125 feet tall and reaches up to 62 mph.



No word on what will be built in its place.
