OAKLAND, Calif. -- In a fun parody of Bruno Mars' hit song "Uptown Funk," the East Bay SPCA shows people that adopting pets is the cool thing to do.

The staff and animals strut around the shelter and the neighborhood in this fun video. There's even a cameo by Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf.

Part of the chorus that promotes pet adoptions, says, "I'm too cute, hot dog! Call the mayor and your girlfriend. I'm too cute, hot dog! Take a selfie for Instagram. I'm too cute, hot dog! Read my tag, you know who I am. Too cute, hot dog! And I'm ready to go home, break it down! I'm adopted, hallelujah! Cause uptown pup gonna give it to ya! Cause time is right for you to adopt.
