PARAMOUNT, Calif. (KABC) -- A Southern California Edison employee who was electrocuted while working to repair storm-damaged power lines in Paramount[/url] Wednesday night has been identified.[br /][br /]Jeffrey Moon, 26, of Los Angeles was pronounced dead at the scene, coroner officials said.[br /][Ads /][br /]The [url HREF="http://abc7.com/news/socal-edison-worker-electrocuted-in-paramount/1149283/" TARGET="" REL=""]electrocution occurred at about 5:20 p.m. in the 15500 block of California Avenue[/url], according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.[br /][br /]An eyewitness told ABC7 Moon was working in a basket crane when he slipped and fell into the power line.[br /][br /]"He was a troubleman, they're our first responders. They're the ones who go out when there is a service interruption and try to get the lights back on," SCE Spokesman Steve Conroy said.[br /][br /]Edison said they're still investigating the incident and can't recall the last time a worker died on the job.
