USC marching band selects its first-ever female drum major
The USC Trojan marching band selects the first female drum major in its history.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The University of Southern California marching band has selected its first-ever female drum major.

India Anderson is the first female drum major in the history of the program.

The "Spirit of Troy" was created in 1880, shortly after USC was founded.

The band is made up of more than 300 students and has more than 350 events each year.
