CHICAGO -- Social entrepreneur Dinai Yelvrton had a vision for 2020, both figuratively and literally! She's inspiring Chicago's youth to pursue their dreams and have perfect vision while doing it!

Dinai's pop-up mobile tour experience brings free eye exams to Chicago's underserved Hispanic and African American communities.

"Basically, I have a bus, we are going around to various neighborhoods in Chicago to bring them free vision screenings," Yelverton said.

As she did more research, Dinai realized there are huge disparities in eye care for African American and Hispanic children. A lot of times, it is due to affordability and accessibility.

"The 2020 Perfect Vision Campaign is tackling those two issues: affordability and accessibility. We're bringing it right to them in their neighborhoods, and we're doing so for free," Yelverton said.

Dinai's tagline for the campaign is "bringing vision to communities figuratively and literally."

"Yes we want to make sure these kids have the proper vision healthcare they need, but also really instilling in them this sense of dreaming big," Yelverton said.

To incorporate the community, Dinai had three young men create an original piece of artwork for the side of the bus.

The bus has made stops in Auburn Gresham, Austin, Bronzeville and will stop in Englewood later in September.
