LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- This week Eye on L.A. is all about checking out the newest spots in the city! With cool shops and unique hangouts opening every day, L.A. is constantly evolving and overflowing with interesting, new places to explore. We're checking out some of the most highly anticipated new places in town that you're going to want to see for yourself.
THE BROAD
The Broad is one of the most anticipated museums in L.A. With a collection of over 2,000 works of modern and contemporary art, free general admission, and a beautiful, white, honeycomb exterior, The Broad is putting downtown L.A. on the map as a new contemporary art capital.
CLIFTON'S
The old becomes new again at Clifton's! This downtown L.A. classic is reopened with an updated, whimsical look, and five floors which include the cafeteria, four bars and a fine dining restaurant that transports you to an era of fantasy and wonder. ONE SANTA FE - ARTS DISTRICT

THE RECORD PARLOUR

ARCLIGHT SANTA MONICA
Known as the theaters where "Hollywood" goes to see their films played, in the way they were meant to be shown, Arclight Cinemas may not be new to L.A., but they are expanding to the Westside. And with the opening of their newest locations in Santa Monica and Culver City, the Arclight is taking it up a notch, now allowing cocktails in the auditorium at their locations.

L.A.'S NEWEST MOUNTAIN LION KITTEN: P44
L.A.'s newest, most adorable mountain lion, P-44, is making a big roar in the name of science. This little cutie has been marked with a tracking device to help scientists learn how these creatures survive in Greater Los Angeles.

SCARLETT SMORYNSKI: L.A.'S NEWEST CELEBRITY CHEF
